It is an experimental recipe. I just learned it from a friend.I called it buttered shrimp which can be added to your shrimp recipes.
Ingredients:

1/2 kg. shrimp
1 tbsp. butter
2 minced garlic
1 chopped onion
4 g. fine black pepper
1 tsp. sugar
200 ml pineapple juice
1/2 tsp iodized salt








Procedure:

- Marinade shrimp in pineapple juice,salt and pepper and sugar
- On a pan, saute' garlic and onion
- Add the marinated shrimp
- Cook for 10 minutes

Serve with rice

Sometimes we want to eat a "guilt free" meal, with no oil, no fats, no meat at all. Bulanglang is the answer! It's an all vegetable recipe that gives so much health benefits.

Bulanglang is a stew with no sauteing needed and no fat ingredients. For people with high cholesterol and diabetic, bulanglang is the usual stew that best to serve for them.



Ingredients:

2 pcs,eggplant (chopped)
1/4 kg, squash (cubed)
10 pcs. sitaw (beans) 3 inch. long
2 pcs. gabi (taro) cubed
5 pcs. okra (cut)
1 medium ginger (sliced)
1/2 tsp. iodized salt
msg. (ptional)
malunggay (moringa) leaves (no required amount. Remember that the more malunggay you add in your recipe, the more nutrients we you'll get)

Procedure:

- Mix all ingredients except malunggay
- Add seasoning, boil for 20 minutes.
- Add malunggay and boil for 5 minutes.

Serve hot.

Ingredients:

1 kg. chicken (preferably thigh, wing and leg parts)
320 g. pineapple chunks
 1 pc. chopped carrot
2 pcs. potato cubed
320 ml coconut milk
1 onion (chopped)
4 g. fine black pepper
3 pcs. garlic minced
1/2 tsp. iodized salt
2 tbsp. oil
1 tbsp. sugar
msg (optional)

Procedure:

- Heat oil on a deep pan
- Saute' garlic and onion
- Add chicken and salt
- Add black pepper and cook for 10 minutes
- Add the potato, carrot and pineapple chunks (juice included)
- Add seasoning, cover the pan and boil for 10 minutes
- Add the coconut milk, mix all the ingredients and cook for another 10 minutes
- Adjust seasoning if necessary.
- When the chicken  is tender,  remove from heat.

Serve with rice

- Heat oil in a casserole.
- Saute ginger, garlic an onion.
- Add the bangus
- Add vinegar, black pepper an chili
- Add seasoning and water.
- Boil for 20 minutes
-Adjust seasoning if needed

This Pinoy style fish steak recipe is good for tilapia (st.Peter's fish) and bangus (milk fish).

Ingredients:

1 kg. bangus or tilapia
2 tbsp. brown sugar
1 small red onion chopped
1 big white onion (cut into rings)
1 medium sized ginger (sliced)
3 pcs. minced garlic
50 ml oil
msg. (optional)

For marinade:

120 ml. soy sauce
4 g. fine black pepper
1 pc. medium sized calamansi


Procedure:

- Marinade the fish for 1 hr.
- Fry the fish then set aside.
- On the same pan, saute ginger, garlic and onion.
- Add the fried fish.
- Add the marinade sauce.
- Add sugar then boil for 5 to 10 minutes.
- Add onion rings as toppings.

Serve with rice.

Tinola is Pinoy's all time favorite especially during rainy season. There are two ways of cooking our favorite tinola : with chili leaves or with malunggay (moringa) leaves.I prefer the second one, because we all know that malunggay is full of nutrients, thrice the amount we can get from any other leafy vegetables. 

I didn't know it that malunggay can be a tinola recipe unltil we attended a year-end gathering in my in-laws place in Cabanatuan where they cooked  tinola with malunggay. "Thanks to my in-laws for this wonderful discovery!". Now let us go to the procedure:

Tinola is Pinoy's most loved recipe particularly amid stormy season. There are two methods for cooking our most loved tinola : with bean stew leaves or with malunggay (moringa) leaves.i favor the second one, in light of the fact that we all realize that malunggay is loaded with supplements, thrice the sum we can get from another verdant vegetables.

Ingredients:

1kg chicken (wings,thigh,leg preferably)
2 pcs. sayote (chayote)
1 small sized ginger (sliced)
1 big onion (sliced)
3 pcs. garlic (minced)
4 g. fine black pepper
2 tbsp. oil
msg. (optional)
1/2 tsp. iodized salt
malunggay leaves (no required amount. Remember that the more malunggay, the more nutrients we can get.)

Procedure:

- Heat oil on a deep pan.
- Add ginger angdgarlic, cook until brown color appears.
- Add onion.
- Add the chicken then half-cooked it.
- Add sayote, add seasoning then boil for 5 mins.
- Add malunggay leaves then cook until the chicken and malunggay gets tender.
- Adjust seasoning if needed.

note: You can use papaya to alter sayote.

Laing is one of my most favorite ginataan (cooked in coconut milk) recipe. It is made up of gabi leaves, stalks and its root crop. Not all kinds of gabi (tarocan be used in this recipe. There's only one kind, in tagalog they called it tipay. Here's how to make laing:




Ingredients:

1/2 kg. dried gabi (taro) leaves,stalks and it's crop.(sun dried for two days)
300 ml coconut milk
1/4 kg.dried fish or dilis
1 onion chopped
3 pcs. garlic minced
50 g. garlic sliced
4 g.fine black pepper
1 tsp.iodized salt
3 pcs. red hot chili
msg.(optional)

Procedure:


-Dry cook dilis or dried fish until it becomes brown. (set aside)
-Heat oil on a pan and add ginger and garlic, wait until a brown color appears
-Add onion
-Add chili
-Add pre-cooked dried fish, cook until brown (stir)
-Add dried leaves,stalks and crop
-Cover the pan, cook for 20 mins. (check every once in a while to prevent the vegetable to stick in the pan)
-Add small amount of water if necessary. Boil for another 2 mins.
-Add the coconut milk and seasoning
-Let boil for another minutes until the coconut milk becomes oil.
-Adjust seasoning if needed

Serve with Rice.

Patola, is a tagalog term for luffa or ridge gourd. It is one of the most common vegetables in the Philippines which is the most favorite stew ingredient.   • miswa (fine wheat noodle)
  • 1 onion sliced
  • 2 pcs. garlic minced
  • 2 tbsp.olive oil
  • 1 glass of water

  • Add garlic cook until brown
  • Add the patola and cook for 5 mins.
  • Add water and miswa

During rainy season, we want hot soup or hot meal on our table. Arrozcaldo is one of the best meal to serve in breakfast. This recipe is not the classic arrozcaldo. I put a twist in it by adding malunggay leaves. Malunggay is very well known in the Philippines when it comes to nutrients and vitamins thus making this simple recipe to be one of the healthy recipes that you can offer to your family.

Malunggay is a Tagalog term for moringa. It is considered as miracle herb in today's generation due to its reserved health benefits that are very essential to our our body. According to the scientific studies, malunggay contains: SEVEN times the vitamin C that oranges has, FOUR times the Calcium we can get from milk, FOUR times the vitamin A we found in carrots, TWO times the protein that milk has and THREE times the Potassium we get from bananas.


Ingredients:
1/4 kg sticky rice
1/4 chicken wings
4 boiled eggs sliced
1 small piece ginger sliced
1 big onion sliced
3 pcs. minced garlic
4gms. fine black pepper
1 tsp. iodized salt
msg (optional)
1 li. water
malunggay leaves
2 tbsp.margarine


Procedure:
  • Heat margarine on a deep pan.
  • Add ginger wait until it becomes brown
  • Add garlic again until it becomes brown then add onion
  • Add washed rice and water
  • Add seasoning (adjust if needed)
  • Boil for 30 mins. (adjust water if necessary)
  • Add malunggay leaves and sliced boiled eggs.
  • Boil for another 5 mins.
  • You can add chicken meat if you like. But when it comes to healthy diet, Arrozcaldo with Malunggay is more that a complete meal. 
  • Serve hot.

What is carbonara?  Carbonara is an Italian pasta recipe filled with creamy sauce topped with ham,cheese,tuna and mushroom.

I've been a fan of this Italian dish ever since the first time i tasted it. Before, I just knew a classic Pinoy style spaghetti but when I tasted carbonara, I started to love this pasta recipe. Creamy, tasty, and very delicious. It's so easy to do this, you can use a classic spaghetti pasta or the flat pasta specially designed for carbonara.



Ingredients:
1 kg. spaghetti pasta
4 cans/250 ml evaporated milk
2 cans/250 ml all purpose cream
2 cans/200 g.mushroom
1 big white onion chopped
4 pcs. garlic minced
100g. butter
100g. quick melt cheese
500 g. ham
2 cans/180g tuna
1 tsp. fine black pepper
1 tsp. iodized salt

Procedure:
- Add the spaghetti pasta in a boiling water. Cook for 20 minutes drain and set aside.
- On a pan, melt the butter in a medium heat then add garlic.Wait until the garlic becomes brownish.
- Add onion.
- Add the ham and tuna and cook for 2 minutes.
- Add mushroom.
- On the other side of the pan, heat the quick melt cheese until it melts.Stir.
- Add the evaporated milk and all purpose cream. Mix well.
- Season to taste ( Adjust seasoning if needed)
- Boil for 5 minutes or until the sauce becomes sticky.
-Mix the right amount of sauce to the pasta and serve.

Saute vegetable is the easiest and healthiest recipe that you can cook at home. Saute vegetables is usually a combination of vegetables which is commonly found in the market. Some people prepare it with meat or chicken but I like to add seafood fresh or in-can since I've been avoiding fatty foods for two years now. This recipe is very simple and very affordable. It's up to you if you want to cook it with meat.

Ingredients:

1/4 kg.Assorted vegetables like; beans, cabbage, okra, sigarilyas and patola
1 onion
 2 cloves minced garlic
 1/4 kg ground pork or 1 can of sardines
 2 tbsp oil
 1/3 tsp. iodized salt
  msg (optional)

Procedure:
Step 1:   Saute garlic and onion
Step 2:   Saute meat for 20 minutes or sardines for 5 mnutes.
Step 3:   Put the vegetables and cover until its natural juices come out.
Step 4:   Mix once in a while
Step 5:  Serve hot with rice
